AURORA, Colo. | In the latest means of enrichment to US Club Soccer’s Player Health & Safety focus, Players First partner Player’s Health will be on-site in Aurora, Colo., with athletic trainers at the 2018 ENPL National Finals, Girls NPL Finals and National Cup XVII Finals.
US Club Soccer is again raising the standard of Player Health & Safety by equipping all certified athletic trainers with Player’s Health technology across those three postseason events.
The ENPL National Finals (July 13-14) and Girls NPL Finals (July 12-16) will be staffed with five athletic trainers and a head trainer, utilizing Player’s Health interactive platform designed to allow coaches to quickly and easily document any injuries.
The following week at the National Cup XVII Finals – also at Aurora Sports Park in Colorado, Player’s Health will also be on-site implementing the Player’s Health platform with seven athletic trainers and one head trainer.
Player’s Health mobile technology promotes real-time communication between coaches and parents to best care for the health and well-being of these players, with HIPAA-compliant interface that simplifies the flow of athlete health information between parents, coaches and health care providers.
“Our mission at Player’s Health is provide the safest environment possible for an athlete to play the sports that they love,” said Tyrre Burks, Player’s Health founder and CEO. “We are excited to support US Club Soccer’s focus on Player Health and Safety and look forward to other ways we can help US Club Soccer protect their athletes.”
In May, Player’s Health introduced its Safety Needs Assessment online tool, a series of questions to help determine if your sports organization is effectively utilizing proper safety practices in sports, and potential barriers to these practices. Burks then provided a walkthrough of the needs assessment in a US Club Soccer live webinar.
